I don't trust Colbert. I think it'll be a hit job. He went out of his way to go after Rand. But that was a general election against a Democrat. Maybe he'll give him a boost since he's going after Republicans right now.

It was light, fluffy fun. RP got some great points in, though. But Colbert's style is so rapid-fire that it is hard to keep up. Ron did great.

Ron didn't like being compared to the Kennedy's and he was probably most uncomfortable with the "Who's your Marilyn Monroe, Megyn Kelly?" question. But he's used to Colbert and expected it.

The amazing thing is how Ron was able to shift gears, from talking to far left Whoopi Goldberg to far right Sean Hannity to far off Stephen Colbert.

That's my take on it as well. The interview was great to us, but that quote and the end quote "you believe in the income tax?!" is pretty much all the audience heard to make their judgement. That's why I wished he went on stewart, stewart has a lot of respect towards RP and they would have had an interesting discussion that the audience could learn from.

If you're talking about Colbert's mocking of the "foot stomp" incident? (And I know it was really a shoulder step). Sorry, but the Rand campaign deserved being mocked over that. The only reason that happened was because Rand didn't listen to advice and hire professional security to deal with people like the MoveOn.org lady and the police at the scene didn't do their jobs. Colbert is a professional comedienne. And that incident handed him ripe material. He would have had to go out of his way not to use it.

Ron Paul On Colbert April 25, 2011

I LOL'd at the advertisement that lead into the interview "paper's dead" from the paper industry. While paper is fine for writing reports like the one in the ad, it's not good as a source of currency. Paper fiat currency is indeed dead, or at least on hospice.
