-Question of the Day-

Do you use the Ron Paul Forums Chat Room?

-Yes
-No
-Only on RP Events

So besides the simple yes or no answer is, only on Ron Paul events like his moneybombs, debates, primarys.

I've always found chatrooms to be the cesspool of the English language. Even when they aren't you're far less likely to find well thought out discussions, arguments, and citations than on a message board. But if you like them, so be it

I use the chatroom pretty frequently. I am still confused though as to why we have both a chatroom and a chatbox.

Nope.
I have visited in the past but was not impressed.
The present set up uses Java, and I don't have Java installed so haven't even looked in for some time.

Rarely. I keep hearing something wonderful happened there, but whenever I go people are just hanging around shooting the breeze.

Slowly.

:o It just occurred to me, that maybe I affect people that way?

always used java:rolleyes:

I upgraded my OS several months ago and did NOT install Java. About the same time as the forum upgrade.

I only noticed when I clicked a couple weeks ago. I rarely ever go in.

Chat is usually off topic

Chat is usually a hodgepodge of ideas and people talking to one another. When it's time to fundraise, discuss something, or plan an event... it's quite useful. It's also nice to speak to people in real time, though apparenty I type much faster than most :(

Chat is great. But haven't been there awhile since I can only get it on work computer (a "no no") or at the USO, where there is a time limit of 20 minutes if someone is waiting. I tried downloading a free version of Java, but my home computer still won't let me into chat.
It is fun just talking, but things get started there that transfer into good forum threads.
