Ron got a miniscule bump in February around CPAC, but BACHMANN even gets 250% more media than he does, and Pawlenty as well, even though both regularly poll worse.

They're throwing us a few bones this round. But we're still not getting the steak itself.

Thank God for the 'net.

What's up with Newt's bump in March?

Remember that video about how the media pushed and pushed Obama over Ron and FINALLY more people started looking at him? We need to up our push. I have noticed, just on my own, that it seemed Ron suddenly started getting less quality media right when he filed the 'testing the waters' papers, as soon as just reporting that was over. And now Romney is passing Ron FINALLY on google trends, and they are really pushing pawlenty. Look:

ron paul michelle bachmann pawlenty romney

I didn't put Trump in (likely the reason all went down more recently) because he is a celebrity and they (like Palin) have a higher media presence to begin with.

sure enough, Trump pretty much flattens the curve (purple)

I'm really starting to think that Pawlenty is going to be the GOP's love child this election. You should've heard the people who were fawning over him at CPAC.

Just for fun, here's Palin and Trump.

They put him as one of the 'serious' ones in every single piece regardless of his polling.

[IMG] but BACHMANN even gets 250% more media than he does,

Yes, but to be fair, she is generally MSNBCs punching bag, nightly.

and Pawlenty as well,
Fox News is responsible for fawning over this guy, obviously there's a conspiracy to make him a viable candidate, although it doesn't seem to be working.

And ppl wonder why I keep repeating myself that if Ron wants any chance of winning our first priority must be to figure out a way to circumvent the media propaganda. But no one listens of course. Just don't be surprised this time around next year.

There's no figuring to it. Some of us know how. It's called: money.

I have to wonder how this is calculated.

In 2010 until just recently Ron was on TV more than any other member of Congress. Although he wasn't being interviewed about the Presidential race so the above graph may not count it.

There was a video (please if anyone can find it) that showed how in the 08' race McCain was barely polling until AFTER the media started to bring him up more, and more. I see the same thing happening this time with Trump, and Pawlenty. The media should be reporting who the people are focusing on, not focusing on who the want the people to go for.

A little bit misleading in that more is not always better - Palin gets a lot but most of her coverage is negative.
