That said, they're hinging the 'difference' on the fact that after the media covered Jones, our troops overseas got attacked. So, they're basically trying to turn Jones' 'thoughts' into a national security secret without actually restricting the media from pointing cameras at him.

This is why people approve of the media outlets filtering news. Of course, nowadays they only filter what doesn't fit their agenda, not what is or isn't responsible to cover. Which makes one wonder how this guy fits their agenda. And the answer, of course, is this is an excuse to attack free speech. Nothing more.
