I haven't/won't watch it, but I'm sure they won't like Ron. These beltway thinktanks believe fiat money printed at moderate levels through central planning produces growth.

Update: I was probably too harsh on them. They're ranking of politicians (http://www.clubforgrowth.org/powerRanking/) has Ron at #2 (behind Flake). He should be #1 though. :) But still, I'm sure they don't advocate elimination of a central bank, following the constitution, and allowing gold and silver to be legal tender.

Update 2: Yeah, they're policy recommendations (http://www.clubforgrowth.org/philosophy/) don't even mention monetary policy. I guess you shouldn't attack the banking cartel - it's harder to get donors. :)

Hmm Ron and Rand have the most positive votes.

Well, Club for Growth essentially IS De Mint, isn't it? So putting him first...

But Flake has turned not so hot. He shouldn't be above Ron, and barely is.

It's probably just because of the earmark issue.

I doubt it. I think there is less than a percentage point between them. I think some just like some better and some don't see civil liberties as high, or possibly don't understand the Constitution on the earmark issue, I guess that could be right.

Mike Lee should've been #3 on the list.

You're thinking of Senate Conservatives Fund. Club for Growth is Chris Chacola..

MMMMmmmmm..... seems to me I heard De Mint was connected with it, but I could be wrong.
