PAUL: In an interview this week with MSNBC, Congressman Ron Paul (R) pushed open the door for a possible third-party run a bit wider. "No, I don't plan to run in a third party. That's not my goal. But if we have a [Republican] candidate that loves the war and loves the neocon position of promoting --," said Paul, who did not complete his answer.

My take on the interview question was that she asked a two-part question:

(1) Would you run as a third-party or independent candidate?

(2) Would you support the Republican nominee if it is not you?

Yeah he was talking about whether he'd support the nominee if it wasn't him
