From Fox News (http://foxnewsinsider.com/2011/04/21/beck-the-greatest-theft-in-history-is-happening-right-now/) comes the below clip of Glenn Beck’s show today, where he compared Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke to Henry Potter’s character in the holiday movie, “It’s a Wonderful Life.”

I guarantee that whatever goon replaces Beck will not be allowed to talk about these things. Enjoy it while it lasts.

some times beck can be cool and some times he just sucks. Even when he talkes about the right things he does a poor job of explaining it.

I wonder if he is for real. Even on the crap i disagree with him on. I think he may just have spotted a trend and jumped on it to make money. Thats fine and all but fakes usually end up hating them selfs. Hope beck one day gets off the fence.

You can look at that from two perspectives:

A) He sees this as an opportunity to make money and has jumped on it.

or

B) It's a good sign that this stuff actually makes money (as opposed to 10 years ago or so when you couldn't pay people to listen to information about the FED. People are taking interest, and it sells. So what?)

I agree with you on Beck's fence though, and it'll be interesting to see what Beck does whenever Murdoch isn't breathing down his back.

I truly believe it Beck's job to confuse and discredit..although I like some of what he says.

I truly don't understand Glenn Beck. Half of the time he seems to be going on absolutely insane rants about Islamic conspiracies, but occasionally he'll say really good stuff. I honestly wish this clip was of anyone besides Beck so I could show this to friends and family who don't quite get it.

My God I think I heard angels sing "Hallelugiah" when he said "The price of oil is not going up, the value of the dollar is going down."

I almost fainted.

Welcome to the Real World, Glenn. We hope you get fired more often so that you have more of these. . .sensible moments.

His "its a wonderful life" analogy was great! I love that movie, and I enjoyed this episode. He really clarified this for people

Heads up, Glenn - the greatest theft in history has been happening for the past ~100 years.

That said, I approve this recent message from GB. Loved sayign how the value of poil isn't going up - the value of the dollar is going down. Wonderful.

Here's the entire episode if anyone's interested. He basically spent the whole show explaining how Ben Bernanke = Mr. Potter from It's a Wonderful Life. Ron Paul and Jason Chaffetz are mentioned at 24:00 regarding wanting to audit the gold at Fort Knox.

Looking at the chart in his episode (I like how he uses charts; that 'Hockey Stick' a few years back was gut-wrenching), it is practically a mirror image. The Fed will now have to rush in and explain that you have to be an economics wizard to understand the chart and there are 'various other factors' involved which the mundanes would not understand.
