What do you all think? Will it play out as he thinks? IMHO, he hasn't been that accurate, so I don't think it will happen quite the way he says.

Video is about two years old.

The headline is also misleading - Celente never predicted food riots, per se in that video. He did say Christmas gifts were going to be more towards "baking cookies" than Ipads. And that the consumer was going to have to scale way, way back.

Something I think also will come to pass.

I still get a laugh when I think of him on Glenn Beck saying that when the SHTF there will be Mad Max-style motorcycle gangs.

Celente still has two years to hit these trends, but I don't see much of this happening, at least anytime soon.

Notice how they still manage to implement the word "Crackpot" and the guys name into the same sentence. Now think about the unconscious effects on people that really just tune out 99% of what they watch.

I don't know how anyone can take his vague predictions serious. He does appear kind of "off".

I think he has some great ideas, but they should be taken as just that, ideas.
