I watched this last night at bedtime and was half asleep. Pretty neat, except for a few things:

First, the explosion was louder than I thought it would be on our computer and it woke my wife up. She was irritated.

Second, I'm pretty sure this guy doesn't take his finger off the trigger or put the safety on after he's done shooting. If I had been the camera guy I'd have been ducking and covering. Yikes.

Tannerite is the real deal:

Frankly, I'm amazed that its manufacturer was successful in his court battles to keep the stuff legal. (Not that I think it should be illegal.) For those who have a reasonably safe place to store a decent amount of it, stockpiling some might not be a bad idea.

Why? It's not a friggin' Glock.

Lol I love that stuff..

And to fire safety marshal steve, you assume that the camera has an operator.

I am going to have to stick to my guns on this one. I just rewatched the video, and whether or not there's a camera operator, the guy is DONE SHOOTING and swinging his rifle around with his finger on the trigger. That's moronic. We'll be watching videos on YouTube of him with one foot in the not-too-distant future.

Not necessarily.
Touching a trigger is not squeezing a trigger. It fact that is rather 'new" training that came from guns with funky triggers.
I had never heard that when I was in the service. And never fired a gun "accidentally". Every gun I ever owned had considerable 'take up".
I believe that is the case with the AK.

I have never had a problem resting my finger on the trigger and my thumb on the safety.
I suspect it has more to do with people that have no mechanical understanding of their firearm.

That ^

Maybe it is just me, but I'm more interested in the guy's source for all of the automatic weapons he has for his YouTube vids.

That was great, but this is still my favorite exploding target video.

Here's my favorite. What a mere 12 lbs of Tannerite will do to a small car:

Apart from the goofy laughter, that's one awesome video. And Tannerite is some potent stuff.

i'm going to go out on a limb here and say its fake.
1. the difference between the red shirt and the background seems funny it just seems something on a green screen
2. if the explosion was strong enough to shake the camera but it can't even move the branch right above it, seems funny.
3. the background doesn't move. yea don't expect major movement but still i expect to see maybe a bird or some trees moving from the wind or something, it just seems like a picture.
