i could have spent half at Amazon.com. Barnes and Noble is waaaay too expensive. I say forget the NYT Bestseller List from now on.

Sat in my car for 30 minutes reading, and then I realized gas is $4 a gallon. :D

Yeah, got mine there as well. It hurt, but I can justify $25 on Ron's book.

OK, day is over. Off to read (and finish!) Dr. Paul's "Liberty Defined".

See you on the flip side!

I bought 2 at BN's and put another 1 in the front display case in the most obvious place possible in front of Laura Bush's book.

I'm experiencing a major predicament here, guys. To round out the purchase to 25 bucks and get free shipping, I'd like to get a really engrossing history book; but I can't decide between "The Real Lincoln" and "Hamilton's Curse"!

Just finished Hamilton's Curse last night...definitely enjoyed it. :) Obviously Hamilton-Jefferson debate and how the federal govt has grown over the years. I though DiLorenzo's concluding chapter was a bit lacking, but the rest of the chapters were very enjoyable. :)

^ Sounds good! In terms of pure morbid interest and curiosity, reading about that time period appeals to me more also. The betrayal of the American Revolution by Hamilton and the other Federalists is relatively under-examined compared to the War for Southern Independence, which every published historian and his brother has written about already.

I'm going to pick it up from the bookstore sometime. First, I'll take the opportunity to ask a worker where to find Ron Paul's brilliant new book, Liberty Defined. Then, before buying a copy, I'll take a few and place them around in the conspicuous displays and cases.

Got started at 7pm because of a phone call. Bypassed diner and opted for a liter of pepsi and a sleeve of ritz crackers.

Almost done! Hour and a half if no more interruptions.

Freakin' book ROCKS!
