I just found out about this today although it was posted 5 days ago. From what I understand, trivial infighting has started between Jacque Fresco and Peter Joseph over who "owns" the movement:

Despite what this video titles claims, the venus project has not "ended" and I assume they will continue what they are doing as usual. I cannot say the same about the zeitgeist movement because I'm still unaware at this point

This one was just posted today, it's PJ raging to Roxanne meadows. Pretty intense argument:

Update: Noel aka "tanktop" has left a message on their forums claiming he's leaving the movement. If you don't know who he is, he is the so called "hero" character that appears at the end of Zeitgeist addendum also in both the beginning and end parts of Zeitgeist moving forward

I thought the whole idea was that there was no leader..

That's what I presumed as well. How's your roommate going to handle this? To be honest, without Peter Joseph, TVP would have never gotten the recognition it has today and it seems the fighting was over a disagreement for the funding of a 20-30 million dollar professional movie meant to raise awareness. Without Peter Joseph or Jacque, their movement is non-existent

My roommate was at an earth day festival last weekend signing people up for the zeitgeist movement. I went to the festival and walked around for a bit, then went over to the table as he was about to get his van and pack up. He asked me to watch the table for a few minutes. I was curious how hard it was to sign people up for this stuff. It wasn't terribly busy, getting towards the end of the day, but one person did come up to the table. I talked to them about the movement for about a minute and they immediately signed up. After they signed up I realized they didn't even know how to pronounce zeitgeist. I would have liked to talk about liberty and whatnot, but that would have been really weird. As soon as I said started talking about "evil corporations" and the problems with the "profitability" model she was sold.

Don't they both "own" the movement? Or maybe everyone involved can take turns "owning" it. lol

Remember - no one owns themselves, everyone owns eachother, and 'ideas can be owned' (according to IP Statists).

Tragedy of the commons fail.
