Just caught the episode of the Daily Show from last night, Jon Stewart did a nice little piece on Obama's use of doublespeak in his budget speech.

At one point Obama states that we will have to "make cuts in the tax code" meaning that taxes will need to be raised.

Stewart then clearly states that means increase taxes & states that Obama will be needing to write George Orwell a royalty check.

Yeah, the writers at The Daily Show are clearly fed up with Obama. I've noticed it a lot lately. It's been interesting.

I think John Stewart is becoming the type of person who at least wants that to happen via some degree of awareness by the people. I don't think he supports the idea of the president lying to make tax increases look like spending cuts.

Exactly. I have a lot of respect for people I disagree with that still put value on honesty.

Don't have it with me, but it's on the comedy central site for sure.
