As more potential 2012 GOP candidates begin to hit the early primary state of New Hampshire, Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX), takes his turn at a scheduled appearance tonight at Saint Anselm College in Manchester.
Picking up on his economics themes from his 2008 Presidential run, Paul will address an audience on cutting government spending and withdrawing troops out of foreign countries. The college is known as a regular campaign stop for presidential candidates.
Paul has not set up an exploratory committee but he has created a so-called “testing the waters” account that allows him to begin raising money towards a potential bid, which could possibly become his core campaign account.
Ron Paul has sought the Presidency twice, first in 1988 as the nominee of the Libertarian Party, followed by a run in 2008 as a candidate for the Republican nomination.
