I should not have to go into any of the reasons I am against the TSA. And I'm willing to bet it would be hard for us to find one person on this site who has not at least made a phone call to a congress creature over them. Out of all the things that have been done to fight the TSA, Has anyone came up with the idea of a boycott?

I stopped flying and canceled my flier mile card when they started giving rectal exams. I'm i the only one that does not fly anymore? I mean at all.

It would suck for the people that work for the airlines but what about putting together an all out nationwide boycott of Flying till the TSA was no more. Not just for a day but for good. That way the numbers would start small and continue to grow and grow (hopefully) till something gives.

I dono, just a thought, maybe there is already a website somewhere about this.

I refuse to have anything to do with Department of Homeland Security (TSA is under this department), be it flying, crossing the border, or anything else.

I was forced to fly out of Baltimore Tuesday. You are nuts if you think you could get the sheeple behind a boycot. They were lining up to go through the body scanner; not a single one even gave it a second thought. Their handlers told them where to march and they quietly obeyed.

There is ZERO chance you can get the public to give a damn.

Some days i think you're right. The only downfall of seeing them get what they deserve is people like you and me have to get it as well.

Good luck with that, unless you're going into hermitage.

TSA is already expending it's reach, as it said it would, to trains, buses, mass transit and surface roads/interstates.

Look for it to be common to get a TSA shakedown on all these modes of transportation within the next five years.

Yup, that.

I fly on a regular basis sadly, and I'm the only one who is ever giving the TSA grief and "opting out".

99 percent line up like the docile, placid cattle they are and willingly submit.

Anybody who thinks that freedom will be restored through some "mass awakening" is nuts.

People will be dragged to freedom kicking and screaming, by a relentless minority. (That's us if we ever find the balls to do what needs to be done.)

And thus it always been.

It has ever been thus, until the bread and circuses run out.

I used to be 100K status miles, I'm now down to one round trip a year.

I agree, avoid flying if you can. If you must fly, though, the key is to avoid the line with the body scanner. I did this recently on a spring break tennis trip to Orlando. I saved five of my teammates from walking into the porno line. Unfortunately, they didn't understand the difference between the two lines. :(

I know. That's why I stopped travelling to the USA, even though I can walk to your country from my house :-)

I flew out of there Thursday. There were not using the scanners that morning. Yes though, when asked to bend over, the sheeple ask "how far?".

Coming back to the U.S. is always a pain. Worst airports and security in the modern world.

And everytime I come back, the U.S. looks older and older and slightly more decayed.

I stopped flying since the body scanners were put in. I also put 2 bumper stickers on my car regarding the TSA issue.

The second video with the 6 year old girl getting frisked for 5 minutes is disturbing!! WTF!!

What is the point of the TSA? Are they "conditioning" the children???

I don't think a ban on air lines will do much good imo. You have to think the majority just walk in and get scanned like a bunch of sheep and the TSA doesn't care if they lose business they get paid by sitting there they don't give a shit. The airlines however should be the ones you complain to. Just make sure you e-mail all the major ones telling them why you're not going to be flying anymore. Maybe the air lines can start a new line for people who fly with their air lines and tell the TSA to shove off. Just boycotting flying all together isn't going to do much good because TSA just gets embolden because all the people who opt out aren't flying no more so they have free reign for whatever they do.

I wonder how long somebody would last that passed out slim-jims to people in the security line that explained
- the naked body scanners have no tested safety record.
- links to mainstream news articles that prove the images are in fact stored and they do know who the image belongs to.
- quotes to the Constitutional protection against unreasonable search and seizure and warrant requirements.
- links to mainstream news articles of accusations of sexual misconduct of TSA agents.
- provided guidance to how to file a sexual assault case against a TSA agent.

Feels like something is dieing. No one seems to have any confidence anymore. At least less people then i remember.

I think the answer is getting as many people to opt out of the naked imaging and then file sexual assault charges against the TSA agents. The TSA won't be able to handle an onslaught of cases. Workers will quit.

The courts would HAVE to hear every case ... unless they openly declare that the TSA is allowed to sexaully assault people.

One irony about this whole thing is comparing USA to China's airport Security.

You have the wonderful USA, the shining free country of the world which looks down at the complete opposite in the evil communist country of China where human rights and civil liberties are cast aside.

Yet when you go through China's airport security, it's normal like any other airport in Asia, in fact, it feels a bit lax.

And when you go through USA airport security, you are gathered like sheeple, your whole family and children are nude body scanned and/or sexually assaulted, and could be questioned at any moment.

Uhhh..Wait a minute, which is the free country again?

When I talk to the Chinese locals and tell them about USA security they are a bit shocked. First of all the idea of getting to an airport and standing in a security line for an hour doesn't make any sense, then when you explain to them about talking off your shoes and scanned and what not, they can't believe it.

Ironic indeed.
