This is good news. Everyone knows that momentum is such that weed will be legal up here in a matter of years, but this is way ahead of schedule.

cool...it's already been basically decriminalized for years, at least for personal use. grow-ops still get taken down once in a while

It's one of those things where the attitude of cops is the deciding factor, and the prevailing attitude around here seems to be "meh, whatever". It's still illegal here and TECHNICALLY you can still go to jail for possession of any amount, but I know a ton of hardcore stoners and I've never heard of anyone getting busted for simple possession. In reality if you get caught generally all that happens is you'll be asked to throw it away. Also people smoke up on Capitol Hill every 4/20 and nothing ever seems to come of it (can you imagine someone trying a crazy stunt like that outside the white house lool). Still it will be good to end the charade though.
