Join the Mises Circle in Indianapolis!
A Mises Institute event Sponsored by Weaver Popcorn Company
at the JW Marriott, 10 S. West Street.

Some government programs seem to last forever, no matter how preposterous. So it is with agricultural subsidies. They raise prices. They reward inefficient producers. They subsidize unfairly. They divert resources. And they cost taxpayers mightily.

This one-day event will explore the history, present, and future of agricultural subsidies, from the point of view of economic theory, demonstrating why few government programs enjoy less rationale than this one.
