Vermont, a 16 yr old can buy a loaded gun, no training, no permit and carry it on school grounds and they have no problem. Including assault weapons. One of the lowest murder and crime rates in th country....http://www.bradycampaign.org/legislation/state/viewstate.php?st=vt

Idaho, New Mexico, and Utah all have really good gun laws. And by good, I mean free.

Arizona has decent gun laws. They were just beefed up, in a good pro-gun way, by the passage of Castle Doctrine Laws not too long ago. We have a "shall-issue" CCW system run by our state police department, and a no-permit required open carry law.
