This documentary studies the way news spins the truth around political figures, and how they can choose to lock out certain candidates.
As a TV democracy, the U.S. is linked into one televised nation through the use of Satellite feeds. These feeds carry the live raw TV image before it has been packed by the networks with music, graphics or commercials. Satellite feeds reveal images of TV personalities in from a live camera with open microphones before they go on-air and again during commercial breaks.
You get raw footage of when candidates have their aides teaching them how to spin questions they receive. You get footage of the media talking about how they choose to not report certain things....plus more! This is back in the 90s but obviously very applicable to today.
I highly recommend watching it.
