Mr. Paul's isolationist positions don't sit well with most conservatives, which may explain why the congressman says that he's not prepared to make a decision yet about running. He also says that he hasn't had any discussion with his son about a possible bid. Rand might stand a better shot than his dad thanks to his large tea party base. In addition, he'd divert some tea party support from Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann, who's also considering a bid.

The author needs to look up the definition of "isolationism". Ron Paul supports non-interventionism which is NOT the same as isolationism. Either the author is deliberately confusing the two, or he is simply ignorant. Either way this is unacceptable.
