Governor Bill Haslam of TN has raised government employees salaries, some up to $150,000-$200,000 (or 11%)!!!!!

All of this while the State is facing a budget crisis and a depressed economy.

WHAT IS CONSERVATIVE ABOUT THAT?!?!

He tried to sneak this in by an "Executive Order" but fortunately it was discovered by the Associated Press last week. Here are links to the stories with more details:

This guy is full of establishment... Buying support and campaign donations for the future? Same as the rest of the Republicrats, same old talking points and crone friends. Obviously his first job as governor is to get reelected at the people's expenses.

Asked to name specific "hard calls" that might be implemented, Haslam said the state could look at options from its purchases to reducing the government's size, possibly in "lots of small places" -- as opposed to across-the-board cuts. The state might be "too heavy" on administration, compared to its services, he said.Tennessee Gov. Haslam says attacking public-sector unions not on his agenda

I actually had government employees on my list (who claimed to be conservative) e-mail me back after I sent this out complaining this was the first raise they had received in many years and that I was being mean to them for slamming Haslam over giving out raises.

LOL. I would bet that if a percentage of their pay would go to another group not of their liking... They too would share your concerns.
