This is great. This is the type of talk all the social conservatives need to hear.

One of Ron's best speeches for the religious right. Used the bible to reference Liberty! Awesome!

Not the most coherent talk he's done. It seems that RP is sharp as a tack in his rhetoric a majority of the time but every once in a while he does an appearance where he is just off and doesn't make his points very clearly. This was one of those times.

Oh well, he is human. Considering I'm a horrible public speaker I can't be too critical and I'm happy to see him out there in Iowa as further evidence he is going to run for president.

He did another speech within the last couple months in front of some religious organization where he used that biblical reference of rejecting a king and it was absolutely beautiful. He was clear as a bell throughout the whole speech and brilliantly wove that king theme throughout the speech to support his usual arguments about liberty and monetary issues. I work as a professional proposal writer and that speech reminded me of exactly how a good proposal should be written: it made made clear points that were tailored to the audience with a cohesive, memorable theme. (I can't remember the religious organization this speech was for or I'd look it up and provide the youtube link.)

Oh my god, where are the teleprompters?? How can someone give a speech without teleprompters??

It is amazing how 2 people can have completely different opinions of the presentation of the same speech.

Is this the one you're referring to? Yeah, this was from his last stop in Iowa, the one he was making up for the missed visit today. I haven't seen today's yet, but it sounds like the same speech.

Not the best speech, but from what I've read, he didn't get much sleep during his travels.
