I cant stand how Ryan's half-ass budget is getting so much publicity. Rands proposed budget cuts of 500 billion, plus balancing the budget in 5 years is the REAL DEAL!!! Ryans proposal is a pathetic mockery in comparison. Where is the love for Rand?

Paul Ryan's budget seems good, but he hasn't always voted so well.

Voted for 4 trillion dollar Iraq war, unpaid for Bush drug program, Patriot Act, Military commissions act, auto bailouts, TARP.

What else?

That is just about the same list to any republican that was in Office during bush. Honestly, if it is that easy for them to repaint a big government spender as a small government fiscal tea party conservative, then how can a true honest man like Ron pAul stand a chance?

Yeah....even Stalin's schemes were confined to "Five Year Plans".....This 30 year plan is a complete joke....an insult to the intelligence of anyone with an above moron IQ.

Paul Ryan is a TARP loving, warmongering, God Damn Aspen Institute sociopathic scumbag just like all the rest.

He has a long and thoroughly neoconservative voting record. He is financially conservative for a neocon, which gets him painted as a free market radical and extremist in the media, but his plan is only marginally less insane in its profligacy than Obama's; as Rand Paul (a real fiscal conservative) points out, it's the difference between adding $11 trillion or $8 trillion over the next few years.

Exactly. Rich Lowry talked Ryan up ferociously on the McLaughlin Group this weekend, calling his budget cut plan the only serious one on the table, and the one all conservative candidates will be judged by. That signals they want to make Ryan's the bellwether plan all 'real' conservatives must go in lockstep to support, which aims to marginalize or position the Pauls as 'unserious' if they don't back it.

there is video out there... but he was straight up BEGGING for the TARP bailouts. he spewed all kinds of fear mongering about how it was to be the end of life as we know it if we didn't pass it. completely ridiculous. i'll try to find the video tomorrow, I was disgusted when I saw it.
