Those are some heart-wrenching calls on Social Security. An elderly woman (55+) calls in worried that they might raise taxes, says that she hasn't had cost of living adjustments (COLA) while prices have been rising. Afterwards, a younger woman (40ish) calls in saying that she does heavy manual labor that she won't physically be able to her job after 60, so it is not fair to have those 55 and younger to lose their benefits for the profligacy of the Baby Boomers.
