Hard? I thought that someone offered to sell the mint as many blanks as they need and for some reason the offer was declined. :confused:

Can they use these hearings to actually help some type of bill or is this just in the hopes that enough congressmen will get inspired to support a bill?

They can do both but it is also to generate public support to push a bill to the floor since the speaker controls that.

Unfortunately, everytime the Fed comes out with docs or Ron has a hearing, they start pretending the world is going to end because the government is going to shut down or something, and we're supposed to be more interested in that....
