Without this I think the Liberal is ahead by around 40 votes, but tomorrow Prosser will be way ahead when these are added in.

Also he will win by enough that there is no auto recount so that she might have to pay for it.

no ballots were "found". The ballots were counted at the precinct level, but not tabulated at the county level before being reported to the press. In Wisconsin this is easy to verify because the totals from all precincts must add up to the county total. Furthermore, in case of a recount, all the ballots are counted, there is no bullshit about just counting these or just counting those. All of them are counted and we have paper ballots here, too, so it is not some stupid machine, everything can be verified. Good luck, conspiracy theorists!

Interesting to also learn that Prosser won comfortably across the state -except- for Dane county, where Madison and the state employees live. It's very similar to the Illinois/Chicago situation where the rest of the state does not vote like it's major urban center.

You shouldn't have a system in which the accurate reporting of votes depend on a woman remembering to press the save button after importing every file. Many recommendations were made to modify that but she has resisted the changes. If I lived in her district and had any saying, it would be a no-brainer that she should go.

Reporting the votes accurately and fast not only diminishes unfounded suspicions of fraud, but in this case, she prevented the will of the voters from having the political impact it warranted. The unions said they were going to give a lesson so that no one will ever fight the unions again. Seeing what a fluke that attempt turned out to be immediately would've been better giving the appearance for 2 days that they were much stronger than they really are.

All valid points, agreed.

A wisconsin supreme court justice. the unions chose that election as their battleground to try to get the new anti-forced union-slavery bill overturned. It appears they lost.

I don't know but we're supposed to be cheering for him.

It is less about cheering FOR him, and more about cheering what his reelection represents.

Makes sense. And I'm very glad the unions lost this battle. Hopefully the results are the same with their recall efforts in the WI Senate.
