do anyone know if this 60k number is tainted?

I mean for example I am a member of 4 meetups. I know many others who are members of mulitple groups.

Does anyone else see a problem here?

Just curious

I'm wondering that, too.

yes, many members belong to more than one group. I belong to 3 or 4. Most belong to just one. Also the number of members that are active is a lot lower. However, it's still darn impressive! No other candidate will top our numbers at meetup.

Just curiousThe sheer number of groups is not tainted. A group organizer needs to sponsor the Meetup for Israel. There are people interested in this meetup.

10% of the members are doing 90% of the work in our meetup. It's proabbly like that in most meetups. I've noticed a lot of duplicate members as well.

I'm in multiple groups, does that mean I count as multiple people?

I really hope that's not how it's counted I've always wondered about that.

That would be great if they ran that story ...

25,000 is 100 times most other candidate's count

It does not matter too much because we are still compared on fair grounds to other candidates. Yesterday I thought the YouTube viewership was 5,000,000/day for Ron Paul vs 3.8 for Obama and much much less than that for others. Yet it was actually 5,000,000 TOTAL. Ouch. But then I calculated the new numbers: way over 40,000/day for Paul. About 11,000/day for Obama. And much less for the other candidates. Paul absolutely dominates. I think the more accurate we get the Meetup numbers, the more dominating they will be for Ron Paul. For example, I remember seeing something about there being practically no actual meetups for the other campaigns when compared to Paul. I think the most important number is the number of unique attendants to Meetups and am willing to bet Paul dominates by an amazing percentage on that... far more than even the meetup membership count.

Edit - I should add that I was planning to keep with one meetup group, but then had to join another one because it is the only way I could RSVP for the Oct 27th nation-wide rally. I think Meetups could change this.

In life 20 percent of the people do 80 per cent of the work. 20 percent of the customers provide 80 percent of the profit.

In meet up groups you will have the experienced leading the way, and there will be many followers.

We can always improve. Have the meet up members get up to speed and assign homework to really read Ron Paul forums under
