President Obama picked up an odd endorsement today in his bid for second term in the White House.
As the Associated Press's Matthew Lee reports, embattled Libyan leader Muammar Gadhafi sent a rambling three-page letter to Obama calling for an end to NATO-led air strikes in Libya. Randomly, he ended the missive by telling Obama that he hopes the president is re-elected in 2012.
"Despite all this you will always remain our son whatever happened. We still pray that you continue to be president of the U.S.A.," Gadhafi wrote in a letter riddled with spelling and grammar errors. "We Endeavour and hope that you will gain victory in the new election campaigne."
I'd like to see this letter myself to verify but strange indeed.
