So what's left? There's the 2008 retreads, Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee. One has money, tons of baggage and zero charisma. The other has zero money, tons of baggage and folksy charm. There's the retreaded retread, Newt Gingrich. There's the no-hopers, Rick Santorum (defeated senator, swivel-eyed) and Michele Bachman (like Sarah Palin but without the gravitas). Ron Paul, anyone? And it's not worth mentioning Donald Trump.

Does not mention Ron

Mentions Rand, but not Ron

Does not mention Ron
but who the hell are:
Haley Barbour
Mitch Daniels
John Huntsman
or "Buddy" Roemer?

Interesting, though is that the bar on the left side says:
"Ventura says he would run if Ron Paul were on his ticket" was the #1 most viewed and e-mailed article on the site in the last 24 hours.

So, has anyone seen other articles, and if so did they mention Paul as a possible contender?

Honestly, something fishy is going on. The back rooms of the CFR having trouble figuring out what to do? I doubt it. Something is up. The lack of action is bothersome. Why hasn't Ron announced? Is the CFR going to wait for Ron or Rand to announce first? Do they KNOW something we don't? What sort of public opinion poll would you commission if you were an insiders insider?

This "calm" before the election cycle storm is getting on my nerves.

What happened when Goldwater ran? Are we repeating history? Is Obama going to walk into another term?

This forum has hundreds of smart minds. We better be thinking one step ahead or else. We need some brain storming!

What's going on? Why isn't Perry running? Is the dollar going to collapse before the election?

Obama /Dems are vulnerable for 2012. But if Republicans ran any of the neocons (Romney, Huackaboo, Palin, McCain, Lieberman, Bachmann, Cheney, Rocky Santorum), they will lose. If they ran someone with last name Paul, Republicans have a pretty good shot at taking the White House from war lobby's pup Obama/Dems.

Can Dr. Ron Paul win the election? Yes. But current polling is not looking good. It would be an uphill climb. I'm willing to support Dr. Ron or Dr. Rand, but at this current state, Rand seems to be our better option!!
