And have all those foreign banks pay back the difference between their discount window loans from us and the market rate of interest, which WE had to pay.

...on their debt as well as our own, because we can't have bankers deciding governments are bad risks.

Looks like the paper is saying IF you want to balance the budget today and have it be fiscally stable in the future, this is what you would have to do. Even Rand Paul's cuts only get you one third of the way to a balanced budget.

RAnd has a five year plan that gets you all the way there without raising taxes OR (for the first five years) hitting medicare or social security. However entitlement reform is needed to keep the budget balanced in the long run.

But these guys don't want the government getting smaller.
