Dang. It skyrocketed over night.

Strange. The widget shows the old amount on my site below and the official site shows the new amount. Anyone have the new widget code?

Yeah, that happened early this morning, just after midnight EST. The widget on RonPaulGraphs.com is still showing the "non-inflated number". I think the campaign either added some off-line donations or else something flaked out. Hopefully the former - it's a happy problem :)

From http://ronpaulgraphs.blogspot.com/:

About the MASSIVE Spike In Donations

I was contacted by the campaign and told this was going to happen. They have added in all the "off-line" donations ($432,000) into the online counter. Awesome! This is yet another ground breaking event..

$12 million for the quarter is looking very strong! Can't wait to see how the Hollywood fundraiser goes.

And November 5th.

And November 11th.

I submitted a Digg article about this - please Digg it up/add Digg links wherever.

Let's get some buzz around these next few days - they could be huge for the campaign. :D

Well I can tell you that all of the graphs on ronpaulgraphs.com are totally disspraportionate now! What kind of Tom-foolery could this be? ;)

I know that from the last quarter the campaign said that offline donations were about 30% of the total donated. If we were at a little less then $1.8 and they added in the $430K that means that offline donations are down to a little less then 20% of the total. If you take 5.1 million time 30%, its 1.53 million divided 3 months for the quarter and it equals 510,000. With the percentage increase in online donations, the percentage of offline is slowing. Are we kicking butt online or is offline really down or is offline not growing at the same rate?

The most important question is, do I have a littel too much time on my hands to be thinking about this?

Anyone who missed the tomfoolery on this site at 2am last night when it went up $400K in ten minutes missed out on some GREAT laughs! :D

I just saw a donation from Patrick Ewing of Brooklyn, NY(11:52am). Could that be THE Patrick Ewing from the Nicks?...either way, glad they donated!

I'm still looking for a new widget that reflects this. I can always use the raw swf from the site but it is not formatted the same way.
