On Saturday, McClatchy (http://www.mcclatchydc.com/2011/03/26/111109/new-rebel-leader-spent-much-of.html) reported that Khalifa Hifter, a former Gaddafi military officer, was appointed to lead the rebel army supported by the United Nations, the United States and the Globalist Coalition.

Hifter spent two decades living in suburban Virginia “where he established a life but maintained ties to anti-Gaddafi groups,” writes Chris Adams for the newspaper. A friend told the journalist he “was unsure exactly what Hifter did to support himself, and that Hifter primarily focused on helping his large family.”

As it turns out, Mr. Hifter is a CIA operative, which likely explains his lengthy stay in Virginia. In 1996, the Washington Post reported that a Col. Haftar (a variation on Hifter) had arrived in the United States and he was “reported to be the leader of a contra-style group based in the U.S. called the Libyan National Army,” the Wisdom Fund (http://www.twf.org/News/Y1997/Libya.html) noted at the time. “This group is supported by the U.S., and has been given training facilities in the U.S. It’s a good presumption that Col. Haftar’s group operates in Libya with the blessings of our government.”

As analysts debate possible motives behind President Obama's United Nations-backed military intervention in Libya, one angle that has received attention in recent days is the rebels' decision to establish an oil company and a new central bank to replace dictator Muammar Gadhafi's state-owned monetary authority.

As analysts debate possible motives behind President Obama’s United Nations-backed military intervention in Libya, one angle that has received attention in recent days is the rebels’ seemingly odd decision to establish a new central bank to replace dictator Muammar Gadhafi's state-owned monetary authority — possibly the first time in history that revolutionaries have taken time out from an ongoing life-and-death battle to create such an institution, according to observers.

In a statement (http://ntclibya.org/english/meeting-on-19-march-2011/) released last week, the rebels reported on the results of a meeting held on March 19. Among other things, the supposed rag-tag revolutionaries announced the “[d]esignation of the Central Bank of Benghazi as a monetary authority competent in monetary policies in Libya and appointment of a Governor to the Central Bank of Libya, with a temporary headquarters in Benghazi.”

The Gadhafi regime's central bank (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Central_Bank_of_Libya) — unlike the U.S. Federal Reserve, which is owned by private shareholders — was among the few central banks in the world that was entirely state-owned. At the moment, it is unclear exactly who owns the rebel’s central bank or how it will be governed.

The Middle East uprisings may have surprised most people in the world, but globalist elites at the Council on Foreign Relations laid the groundwork for the spontaneous events.

Are these alliances going back to as they were in old times even before the 10th anniversary of 9/11?

Let's see. In 1989 the CIA funds (http://www.counterpunch.org/brzezinski.html) the creation of Al Qaeda through the Pakistani ISI (http://communities.canada.com/shareit/blogs/reality/archive/2010/08/03/cia-and-isi-nurtured-mujahideen-and-taliban.aspx). The ISI funded the 9/11 attacks (http://articles.timesofindia.indiatimes.com/2001-10-09/india/27243646_1_isi-link-evidence-india). The FBI had an informant inside the 1993 WTC bombing (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fh0kyRMQsHg) (the actual bomb maker). A French newspaper reports prior to 9/11 a meeting between a CIA officer and Osama Bin Laden (http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2001/nov/01/afghanistan.terrorism). The CIA worked with Al Qaeda in Kosovo (http://www.globalresearch.ca/articles/BEH502A.html). And yet, people who think 9/11 should be questioned are the crazy ones?
