Yeah, the Senator should put this clip up too, they only had the prepared speech part, and this is important.

I've gotta say, even though I disagree with Dick Durbin on virtually everything, he is one of the more entertaining orators in the entire senate, a nice break from McConnell and Reid, who will send one to sleep within minutes. In this case, Durbin would be furious if it was a Republican President who did this, but because it is Obama, it's acceptable. Red Team vs. Blue Team, nothing new. Rand made a couple of great points.

I thought Rand did a great job using Durbin's arguments against him and kind of putting him in a box. I think the Freshman has some balls!

What a warmongering piece of shit. It's obvious now that Dickcheese Durbin never honestly opposed Bush's wars or any wars for that matter. He repeatedly patronizes Rand, brings up the fact that he's a new senator, and he dodges Rand's question about how this war applied to the War Powers Act.

If anyone hears that nonsense about Rand purportedly 'voting for' action in Libya, would you please send them this? http://t.co/Yp3YAvF MSNBC is lying, again. (O'Donnell, this time.)

I am so sick and tired of hearing politicians justify our attack on Libya because "a ruthless dictator is slaughtering his own people." It's Democrats like Obama and Durbin who truly are blind to their own sentiments about protecting innocent life. In sheer hypocrisy, those same politicians (and others of their ilk) support the innocent slaughter of millions of innocent lives in the womb via abortions every year. Yet, they have the audacity to condemn Gaddafi for slaughtering his own people?! We need to get the mote out of our own eye in this country, when it comes to killing our unborn, before we try to cast beams out of foreign dictators. What if another country chose to start a war on us because we kill unborn babies (innocent, defenseless lives)? The liberal warmongers would not like that one bit, but they will not so much as bot an eye when Obama goes to war on another nation for its slaughtering of the innocent.

Rand raised 3 critical questions about the Constitutionality of the President's actions.

Durbin danced around them by appealing to emotions, as they always do when attempting to justify any military action that cannot be backed by anything else, and answered none of them.

I'm from Chicago. I'm ashamed this guy is my Senator.

Call him as many times as you like, his office couldn't care less. They know just as well as he does that he will never be voted out. Heck, he won't even have a serious Republican challenger in his lifetime.
