Ron Paul announces... that he's going on a Spring 2011 Campus Tour!
You asked for it, and Dr. Paul delivered. The size of the crowds at these campuses will help Congressman Paul decide whether or not he should run for president in 2012.
That's right -- I'm excited to announce that five YAL chapters were selected to host Congressman Paul on their campuses this Spring. The first two stops are already complete and were amazing successes -- University of New Hampshire and North Carolina State University.
Three more schools are now set to host Congressman Paul next month: Mississippi State University, Florida State University, and University of Nevada - Reno.
YAL is co-hosting these events with Campaign for Liberty, and your support helps us offset the traveling expenses, promotional costs, and venue rentals. If you can, please chip-in with a $50, $25, or $10 donation (http://yaliberty.us1.list-manage.com/track/click?u=f1340031d3e25504f5712bcb1&id=236c34e61d&e=9edca4a7b8) so YAL can continue to bring Congressman Paul to campuses across the country.
Please take a minute to review the exciting news coverage already generated! Congressman Paul will have visited five campuses in less than two months by the end of his tour.
1. The University of New Hampshire: On Thursday, March 24, Congressman Paul spoke to a packed house at the University of New Hampshire. Here are just a few reports from this great event:
"A standing-room-only crowd (http://yaliberty.us1.list-manage.com/track/click?u=f1340031d3e25504f5712bcb1&id=1a5a90402c&e=9edca4a7b8) of more than 550 people at the University of New Hampshire on Thursday afternoon provided a stark display of how the Ron Paul Revolution lives on."
"'Liberty' was the subject of an address (http://yaliberty.us1.list-manage.com/track/click?u=f1340031d3e25504f5712bcb1&id=aefebe707a&e=9edca4a7b8) by Congressman Ron Paul, R-Texas, given to a standing-room-only crowd in the Granite State Room of the Memorial Union Building at the University of New Hampshire Thursday."
"It's officially primary season in New Hampshire (http://yaliberty.us1.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=f1340031d3e25504f5712bcb1&id=fec65fad4a&e=9edca4a7b8) (although Ron Paul hasn't officially thrown his hat into the ring) and, despite the apathetic college student that every other generation likes to speak about, it became clear that a significant portion of this campus is eager to engage in the political process. Although plenty of non-students came up for the speech, in some cases driving hours to be present, the majority of the crowd was UNH students."
2. North Carolina State University: Just a few days later, Ron Paul traveled south for another popular speech, this time in North Carolina. The event on Monday, March 28 was met with a full house of enthusiastic students cheering for freedom, as Rep. Paul spoke against the new war in Libya:
"The Texas congressman orated (http://yaliberty.us1.list-manage.com/track/click?u=f1340031d3e25504f5712bcb1&id=ad4cddce46&e=9edca4a7b8) to applause and cheers throughout his speech, which covered topics ranging from U.S. offensive action on Libya to the causes of and cures for the current U.S. financial crisis. Paul, who ran for president in 2008, said he is considering running for president in 2012, a decision that will be based on the value of the dollar.
"Texas Congressman Ron Paul spoke (http://yaliberty.us1.list-manage.com/track/click?u=f1340031d3e25504f5712bcb1&id=91e5826956&e=9edca4a7b8) to a packed auditorium on the North Carolina State University campus Monday evening and spoke out about the U.S. action in Libya."
"President Obama’s Libyan campaign (http://yaliberty.us1.list-manage.com/track/click?u=f1340031d3e25504f5712bcb1&id=87fd115b77&e=9edca4a7b8) represents 'the continuation of a deeply flawed foreign policy.' That’s the assessment of U.S. Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, who used those words in a news conference two hours before the president’s televised address on the topic."

Three more campus visits from Ron Paul are still to come!
Please bring your family, friends, and anyone who would benefit from hearing Congressman Paul's message! Let's make sure we send a bold statement to the political establishment and pack the house! At each event, Congressman Paul will speak on the subject of his latest book, Liberty Defined.

If you live within driving distance of any of these events, please try to make it out! This is your chance to see Ron Paul up close and in person, and you could show him the support he needs to make a decision to run in 2012.
I promise you won't want to miss any of these events -- especially in the run up to primary season! Make sure to invite your friends so we can pack the house, as Congressman Paul spreads our message of limited government, sound money, and a non-interventionist foreign policy.
