On Wednesday’s “Red Eye” on the Fox News Channel, Kristol took things a step further and declared Obama “a born-again neo-con.”

Host Greg Gutfeld asked Kristol how he felt about Obama coming to him for help (reportedly the president had met with him and others prior to his Monday night address).

“He didn’t come to me for help, of course,” Kristol said. “I’m not going to acknowledge that. He came to me to make sure I was supporting his sound policies. Of course, since his sound policies are more like the policies people like me have been advocating for quite a while, I’m happy to support them. Obama never voted against the Iraq war. They went in before Obama was senator. When running for senator he promised to vote against all funding bills. When elected he voted for ALL funding bills except one that was tied to a demand the Dems as a party were making, and later voted for the next one.

All this happened before the presidential election. I found it. They could have found it too, if they were going to put all the effort into being a precinct captain.

I wouldn't use so broad a brush. There are some democrats out there who oppose BO's fascism. You just don't hear about them as often. Plus, GOP establishment conservatives have been war hawks for generations now.
