Dec 8 EDIT: Proof NBC is Awesome. Fox News calls for Boycott of NBC: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDoP5hdocFg

---original post from October---

NBC has been giving some amazing coverage of Ron Paul recently. Even the CNBC guy was very apologetic after taking down the debate poll (watch this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mEFmAqfiXnk))

This is another great example (lady calls him an isolationist then is apologetic in the 2nd one):
Before: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xv2jSYZtKW4
After: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pI-2aSRPK5w

This is the second time NBC has been apologetic about their coverage of Ron Paul. Is NBC realizing being supportive of Ron Paul is good for ratings? Is NBC the most likely network to embrace Ron Paul's message? Another example is that Ron Paul is on the Tonight Show next week (also NBC).

If the ronvolution shows heavy support and favoritism for NBC, will they be willing to continue this positive coverage streak? IMO, the other TV stations don't even come close.

Eh, I would be very cautious. NBC could turn on Ron Paul again at any moment. All I suggest is you can temporarily stop the NBC flames, but don't explicitly endorse them until we are absolutely sure they are on Ron's side for the entire campaign duration.

Trust me on this, they will never be on his side. It's against the corporate interests.

no media outlet is going to be "on his side," the best we can hope for is fair treatment. I think it's a waste of time to try to win networks over with flowers, etc. The best thing we can do is keep a watchful eye out, and if they say anything that's untrue about Dr. Paul, flood their inboxes with polite, well-worded corrections.

That first clip was John Harwood, he wasn't apologetic, and he isn't the guy who took the poll down. John was trying to deflect future criticism.

NBC has not been awesome in any way. Norah O'Donnell only grudgingly gave Ron a chance to correct her previous mistake. And that fake laugh at the end was priceless.

All we can ask is fair. NBC has been mostly fairer than other networks. But that's a long way from saying they've been fair, because they haven't. But instead of moaning about it, contribute to the campaign or go knock on some doors and tell people about Ron Paul. It does wonders for me when I get angry at the media.

GE the owner of NBC has a massive vested interest in continuing the "war on terror" anyone who would put an end to it is bad for their bottom line.

After watching Ron Paul on Leno, I will now be boycotting all other tv stations and I'll only watch NBC.

Thank you NBC!
