Could you believe that the title is not sarcastic?

Give War a Chance by WILLIAM KRISTOL

Let’s support our troops and their mission, and give the war a chance—even though it’s a war that’s not being perfectly conducted by an administration that offers plenty of cause for frustration.

Bill Kristol is obviously insane. War, war, and more war seems to be his song. That is the song of a madman.

It is called mocking you. He is mocking the american people and knows most won't even be smart enough to realize it, let alone have enough power to do anything about it.

Bill Kristol is like Charles Manson.

He never committed the crimes, but he was the mastermind behind them.

Done.

My response:

I agree, lets give War a chance. Next on the list is Syria. Then Yemen. Oh and Bahrain too. Wait, I almost forgot Saudi Arabia. Yes, all of those! Give war a chance throughout the entire Middle East and North Africa, why don't we.

Mr. Kristol is a fool for advocating more military intervention for peace. The "War is Peace" model is now firmly rooted in American foreign policy by the Republicrat establishment, and it doesn't seem like its going anywhere anytime soon.

God help us all.

"Mr. Kristol,

You are absolutely insane. You love war more than some of the most detestable despots throughout human history. There is no country you'd wouldn't love to see conquered and no village you'd be against seeing leveled. Philosophies like yours (if you can call a sadistic love of warfare a "philosophy") are the very reason why those who wish to do America harm have more credit in the Middle East than they deserve. Your thinking, your style, your love of suffering helps only the very few who benefit from war but hurts the vast majority of the human race. May God have mercy on your soul for advocating such atrocious policies."

 If the guy wasn't so influential it might be morbidly funny.

ETA:
"You go to war with the president you have. This isn’t the one we conservatives preferred. We have a good chance to remove him in 2012. We should work to do so. But first let’s remove Qaddafi, help get Egypt, Tunisia, Bahrain, and Yemen right, and—who knows?—despite our reluctant president, push the administration to have the backs of those fighting for regime change in Syria and Iran."

The guy's an absolute sociopath.

He says that we all need to "Chill."

Thanks, bro.

Kristol doesn't think 10 years down the road. He only thinks through the next election cycle.

Was a long, drawn out war in Afghanistan an objective of Al Qaeda? Yes. Does Bill Kristol support a long, drawn out war in Afghanistan? Yes.

Was a long, drawn out war in Iraq a positive for Al Qaeda? Yes. Does Bill Kristol support a long, drawn out war in Afghanistan? Yes.

Is there evidence Al Qaeda has been able to steal heavy weapons during this Libyan conflict? Yes. Are they fighting alongside the Libyan rebels currently? Yes. Did Bill Kristol in this very article supporting arming the Libyan opposition? Yes.

Does Bill Kristol support Al Qaeda? Answer seems pretty clear to me.

We've been a military industrial complex looking for an enemy to justify our existence since 1989. Sad fate for a once-truly great nation.

And the really fucked up thing is that this warhungry jackass doesn't even know the first thing about what war actually is because he NEVER SERVED. He probably thinks it's like South Park with log flumes and shit. If an actual veteran like John McCain wrote that article, it would still be retarded but at least it would not smack of complete and utter cowardice.

You may be right, but I am not convinced. The likes of this scumbag, Bush, Obama, et al are way too consistent in their outward faces to be acting wholly sarcastically. I agree with you, however, on the bit about not being able to do anything about it, save to alter it with "willing" rather than able. We could stop this bullshit now, even if we had to physically seize several thousands of these people and shoot them. After a speedy and impartial trial, of course.

See? We can be sarcastic too.

Perhaps we need to revive the gladiatorial games. Capture all these vile subhuman trash, put swords in their hands, and into the octagon they go. A real life Celebrity Death Match - only we might call it Vermin Death Match.

The minds - the thinking - of the vast majority of people in the west appears to me to be hopelessly lost. What today passes as "normal" and reasonable would have been looked upon as sheer, barking insanity even 75 years ago or even less. The well of reasoned, tempered thought has been poisoned and most of us are drinking from it daily. Knowing this, it is very difficult not to fall prey to the belief that America is doomed.

He practically suggests going to WWIII in this. A WWIII we might lose, at that. Does anyone seriously think that we will be able to progressively attack Arab countries one-by-one and not provoke the wrath of the entire Islamic world? It's not like the Middle East does not have the combined capacity to make war.

And it is precisely this bent as found in his ilk that makes me wonder whether there is something to this whole "luciferian" notion. I do not usually place stock in such claims until some seriously convincing evidence is presented. Well, anyone basically advocating for WW III has got some kind of an unpublished agenda on the table and when the people so advocating are in or close to positions of making it happen, it becomes difficult to dismiss notions that devils roam the planet, bent on seeing universal destruction of the race.

Yeah, we're in some shit here.

Yeah, we're in some shit here.

Being a Calvinist, I personally think it does not require devils to do this. People are, by nature, evil and sinful. People like war in a sick sense. Sometimes they get weary of it, like many Americans are now, but FNC missile porn proves that people are drawn to death and destruction. How else can we explain the twentieth century? The entire century was dedicated to the concept of total war. Whole societies dedicated years of their lives to destroying other societies, and it wasn't, for the most part, good vs. evil. One might have been worse than the other, but neither side was guilt-free.

Furthermore, this was not totally unique in history. Sometimes we had more limited wars, but there has been plenty unlimited destruction, and some have actually succeeded in their aims (the Islamic Turks did totally destroy, after centuries of war, the Byzantine Empire). We need to repent, lest we wind up all being punished for the evils we have done to God and each other.
