The worlds greatest investor must agree with RP that the dollar will continually to weaken. Atleast thats my take from his comment.

lol We should get a Buffett and Paul press conference al a the educating Rudy press conference to explain how the fed weakens the dollars.

yeah I know it would be awesome if he did. What confuses me is his father was a congressman with a libertarian lean.

Yes and he gave the maximum to both Hillary and Obama. And his charities support Planned Parenthood and other nefarious orgs. I live in Omaha and used to like Buffett. But not anymore. He is a genius though.

Not that I disagree in this case, i don't, but Buffett has made some incredibly bad Forex trades. He is much better at equity investments.

I dont know, his positions antidollar are paying off huge. He hit the silver maket right on the nail as well.

But you're right, his equity positions return far more than his FX positions. I really think he only takes those positions because his company has too much liquid.

LOL. A flunky of the biggest shareholder of the Federal Reserve (Corporation) endorsing Dr. Paul - that would be funny...

Historically he has a relatively bad forex record is all I am saying, relative to BRK's stock investments. In 2005 he lost ~ $1 B on a short bet on the USD. BRK makes great calls on buying up undervalued companies, that's always been his strong suit is all I am saying.

The crazy thing is that if the Democrats get into office the Dollar will more than likely fall apart completely. Not one of the their candidates has a clue about the economy and they all have proposed nothing to change the dollars value.

of course he does, he already has his billions.. I love how everyone is so charitable with everone else's money... plus, the very nature of his wealth is "non-socialist" -- so he is contradictory.

We are not gonan be bale to export enough to keep up with thsi decline....Any ideas on where he is coming form?

he's actually been saying this for a long time.... he stopped investing heavily in american companies and has been focusing on eastern europe and asia for the past 3-4 years. he made a similar statement about the dollar around that time when he started shifting his portfolio in that direction.

Where do I say that Buffet owns a piece of the Fed? He is a flunky of one of the founding shareholders. There is a wonderful photograph of Buffet introducing Schwartzenegger to Rothschild on his estate in England.

As to the ownership of the Fed itself; there are now tons of somewhat contradictory stacks of information around. You'd have to apply your own judgement as to what is fact and was is obfuscation.

There is no better expert on this ‘banking cartel’ than G. Edward Griffin, the author of “The Creature From Jekyll Island: A Second Look at the Federal Reserve”. Congressman Ron Paul from the great state of Texas, and a member of the House Banking Committee, had this to say about Griffin’s book… "A superb analysis deserving serious attention by all Americans. Be prepared for one heck of a journey through time and mind."

Dr. Paul certainly knows what's up; maybe his supporters should as well. The supra-national Central Banking Cartel/scam is arguably the biggest factor in most of the ills befalling not just the U.S., but the entire planet. Understanding the basics also puts in perspective, just how earth-shatteringly huge and important this campaign and it's consequences are. It's also why we can't possibly hope to win over the MSM, but we can certainly make their existence miserable and slowly irrelevant - and win...
