Somoene either took profits or sold short 60 Rudy Giuliani contracts today. The next highest bid of any quantity (100-200 contracts) is at around 41 or 42%. Wonder if it was that episode of ABC Good Morning America (http://rawstory.com/news/2007/ABC_Giuliani_defending_and_protecting_predator_102 3.html)yesterday =). Old news to the informed, but perhaps not well known news to joe six pack. re: link 1 (http://www.bishop-accountability.org/reports/2003_02_10_SuffolkGrandJury/) link 2 (http://www.bishop-accountability.org/reports/2003_02_10_SuffolkGrandJury/02_Suffolk_Priest_F_Placa.pdf) link 3 (http://www.bishop-accountability.org/news2007/07_08/2007_07_22_Sutner_GiulianiHas.htm)

Rudy was slammed as a Traitor on the front page of NY Post and NY Daily News today.....They really hammered him because he's rooting for the Boston Red Sox in order to pander to NH voters..

This from a guy who just slammed Hillary for being a johnny-come-lately Yankee fan!

rudy will do anything for a vote, even if it means rudly interupting his speaches to look like a family man by having someone call and pretend its his wife.

i dunno but i think rudy may be retarded.

Dunno. If you can short sell on Intrade, that 7.1 bid is easy money for shorting a few hundred McCain contracts and buying them back when he's sub 1%.

I am not sure if a) it is legal to trade these contracts in my state, nor b) if you can short sell at all.

Well with stocks you can short sell them if you think they are going to go down in the future, it is how you keep a balance in the wonderful world of buyers and sellers. Selling short is selling high and buying low, the opposite of going long a stock buying low and selling high. Shorting has the risk that if you make the wrong bet you might have to buy back higher later for a loss, all the while having to maintain a margin contract agreement that says you must.

If Intrade is legal here and you can short sell, I might be intrigued in doing some trades. I assume it is illegal though.

Smart people will see what negative ads are coming down the pike against Rudy.

They are getting out while the getting is good.
