So far we have raised only $26,978.

I think we need to organize another donation drive this month in October. We already have one in November and December, but October is falling back drastically :(.

I think people are waiting untill 11/5. Personally I don't see the difference between donating on that day or on other days (but that's just me).

I agree, 26978 is extremely low. We need a money bomb or two now to hold us over until the 5th.

yawn

this area is for grassroots efforts to educate new voters - the multiple threads on fundraising are A) tiring to someone who is unemployed and B) not helping us reaching the true goal winning primaries which takes CONTINUED GUERILLA MARKETING EFFORTS FROM ALL OF US.

People are tapped out from the ad fundraising ticker, I think.

Maybe we can have site to fill Lenos head with 250k or so on the 31st. Maybe he can pick up 100k or more at the pricate fundraiser after Leno's show. Make sure Tom Cruise and his pals show up.

tomorrow is pay day, and once the donations start coming in, they take off.

This was bothering me earlier, also, but I think that one slow day is not such a big deal. There are so many possible reasons for it. (A donation drive just ended, we have a huge one approaching soon, the state of California is on fire, a World Series is about to start, etc.)

I don't think we need to be concerned until a trend develops.

Someone needs to donate right now and post the confirmation to make us all feel better.

For a "worst day," that's really not bad at all.

I predicted our trends would go down a steep slope and we would only raise 7.3 million this quarter.

It looks like I'm right.

Get off your cheap butts and start donating.

Can we have a mini-bomb before the end of the month to see if we can up our Oct. numbers? I have given considerable this month and am doing the $100 11/5 thing, but I would be willing to kick in another $25 before the end of the month. We need to be reaching more people. If the last the debate hadn't been designed to marginalize RP we would have gotten a bigger bump from that. Personally, I don't think the 30 seconds ads or even paper ads do that much for Ron Paul - people need to hear him talk at some length in order to get his message. He needs more nationwide extended interviews and such. His message isn't a sound bite kind of message. It is sort of a tightrope walk - getting us out of Iraq and doing it now is the thing that will get the vote of most Americans, but the typical GOP primary voter is all about fighting "Islamofacism" and appeals to fear.

I do think the type of sound bite that will work for RP are those that emphasize how this country is indebted to the gills to foreign countries - to the tune of $30,000.00 or more for every single citizen and this war is going to end up costing us more thant 2 trillion dollars - a debt even our grandkids won't be able to pay. Not to mention most of the people on this board will never see a single cent of what they have paid into social security. The first baby boomer just got his first SS check. It is only the beginning of many millions of Americans going on SS in the coming decade.

I think that many are giving till it hurts. I love seeing that kind of commitment. If you're not giving yet, do so. If you can't give any more find someone else that can. New blood brings excitment and more donations.

250K would ONLY fill Leno's jaw.
