A new Pew Research Center poll reveals that among those who self-identify as proponents of the “Tea Party,” almost 25 percent would choose Mitt Romney to be the Republican challenger to President Barack Obama in 2012.

Wow, people who want lower deficits want a republican from massachusetts rather than the guy who basically started the tea party. What idiots some people are.

I was a Romney supporter when I thought ron paul wasn't going to run. Why? I don't want palin to be the face of the GOP.

There is no reason to support Romney now that the best candidate (RP) is in the race. You don't have to settle for a neo con!

This poll simply shows that 25% of tea partiers are just hanger-ons and not really tea partiers.
