That is someone speaking about him, not him speaking.

I wondered if the way he got a week to debate it might not have been by negotiating the filibuster, but the vote on the short extension would have overcome a filibuster in any event, and Rand did object when it came up on unanimous consent and forced a vote.

I dearly want him to filibuster it, however.

I guess he figures since a filibuster will probably be overcome easily, at least he can force a debate.
