Found the NBC-17 interview on checkpoints. Not bad at all - the reporter Justin Quesinberry was able to chop out a lot of the context to make it fit into the timeframe, without losing the balance in the story. I had a lot more detailed explanation that didn't make the cut, but since the story had to be cut this was one of the most fair cuts for time that I've ever seen.

The Wake Country Sheriff seemingly said that anything they can do to get federal money is okay. Uh...and where exactly is that line, sir? If the Feds demand strip searches in exchange for federal dollars, will that be allowed? It is just like the Judge always says, the federal government blackmails the states with money so they accept all of these new regulations.
