My only criticism is that gold/silver pricing of oil has NOT been constant. It has been fairly constant, but using such an absolute is just asking for people opposed to you to ridicule your statement.

I would point out to other legislators that a falling dollar hurts legislators as well. If states must act within a budget (at least, relative to Congress which lives in a fantasy land where budgets mean nothing), and the dollar loses its value year-to-year, then that means that state legislators will have less purchasing power so long as they continue to use dollars.

If you're a Democratic legislator, that means cutting services.

If you're a Republican legislator, that means raising taxes.

Maybe you can drive that point home to get them to see that 'sound money' is not a partisan issue. Ask them if they want to fall on their swords for the Federal Reserve.

Actually, I got around $15,000 from RPF ppl last election, and that plus instate donors got spent almost to the last penny. I've raised about $700 since the election. I don't even have enough on hand to host my Town Hall meetings much less prep for a future Congress run

Glen has a lot more support on FB now. They have been asking him to have a money bomb. I think April 1 is a great day. Gunny has to tweek the donation page and then we go big time. Remember, he is introducing Ron Paul on March 28 here in Raleigh. We can incorporate that too.
