Perhaps hoping to avoid the plight of unions in states such as Wisconsin, Ohio, and Tennessee, members of a New Jersey public employee union have proposed a plan to contribute more money to their medical coverage in the hopes of convincing New Jersey lawmakers that real savings can be made at the bargaining table.

That figure does not meet Christie’s approval, however, as he has set his sights on 30 percent — approximately $475 a month — for family coverage. Similarly, Sweeney has announced that he wants workers to pay 12 to 30 percent of premiums, based on salary

I like christie's number better.

Christie is a politician. As far as promoting liberty he shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath as Ron Paul.

I like Christie's talk thus far. I just want to see him get something done.
