I am not a number. I am a free man.

I provided fingerprints for an employment background check many years ago, and I've regretted it ever since. They'll hold the Winter Olympics in hell before I ever willingly give up any more biometric information -- especially a DNA sample.

Critics say that such government initiatives should not proceed without proof that the technology really can pick a criminal out of a crowd.Such government initiatives shouldn't proceed, period. The government already wrongly considers certain people "criminals." What will happen if certain political dissidents are deemed criminals one day?

I remember being very hard up about 14 years ago, and trying to get food stamps. The state(IL) wanted me to do an iris scan in order to receive benefits. I had no idea what that was about, but did it because my kid needed some food.

Unfortunately, I couldn't sit still long enough to get a proper scan, and ended up not even getting help from them. Now I am so very, very thankful that I had a noisy running around kid there to keep me from getting that scan. Fuckers already have my prints, have since I was a child(thanks Mom and America's most wanted guy). That's one thing I've never, and will never, do to my kids. If I had known then what I know now, I would have had them both at home, so they would truly be sovereign.

Do your kids have Social Security Numbers?

(Keep in mind that Social Security is a Contract with the Govt, and an individual needs to be at least 18 years of age to enter into a legally binding contract)

My prints and DNA are on file. As well as my tattoos, scars and my known history.

I had to give my fingerprints to get a California teaching license... I wonder what they'll require next.
