Way to go, I had not peeked in this thread thought it was someone just saying they could not watch Cavuto because some horrible guest was being interviewed. But as it turns out Gunny is being interviewed, very awesome man. I think Cavuto will treat you fairly, I don't want to be one to lecture you, but my advice is to reiterate that gold and silver would be OPTIONAL, not forced on the people like the dollar, present it as a common sense approach to giving a way to insure against currency problems...just something there to backstop any major damage that could happen.

Present it in a very non threatening comonsense way. I know you know the deal, just they will be trying to angle like it's an extremist bill. You have to tell them that no one is being forced to trade in gold and silver but that we should always have a security measure in place when uncertainty with our currency is looming like this.

Great point regarding food riots are caused by the declining dollar, and how it is hurting the poor. Critics of Ron Paul and his supporters claim that we don't care about the poor; well Glen, you just did an excellent job proving them wrong. Your bill will protect the poor by making sure that they will be able to have something to buy food with when all this goes under. Great job!!

My advice is not to get to technical with the price of Gold versus that or this. Simply reiterate that this bill is not forcing it on anyone, it simply gives people another option if they choose to utilize it. Emphasize that we need to have underlying system to act as a check measure if extreme currency fluctuations start to happen. Say that it gives people peace of mind to have options and not be limited to a very shaky system with no alternative.

You have to be very careful and take the ball out of the extremist category. If you emphasize that it is optional and in no way shape or form is intended to replace the dollar system only provide a back drop in case of currency fluctuations....people will go for it. We all know a gold standard would be a big improvement, but we don't need to push it on the people, they will choose it voluntarily if they have the OPTION...so we just say we don't intend to challenge the established dollar system we simply want people to have options to protect against global fluctuations.

Sell it as protecting people from economic uncertainty.
