So, if U.S. citizens were to rebel, I assume that he'd have all government forces stand down?

Obama: "We cannot stand idly by when a tyrant tells his people there will be no mercy."

U.S. federal government sure as hell did that between 1861-1865.

Lincoln = 620,000 Americans
Gaddafi = 1,000 Libyans (so far)

Still a lot of catching up to do.

Obama maybe a good obedient political slave of his puppet masters but he is increasingly logically incoherent.

Israel: The Jewish military has orders to show Gaza no mercy
Jan 8, 2010 ... Gaza, January 8, 2010 – A massive explosion took place few moments ago western Gaza City, in Tal Al Hawa neighborhood.

We aren't in Dafur. We aren't any number of places the governments suck. We aren't God, nor the world's policemen, regardless of what Obama says.

I saw a new navy ad for recruitment. The slogan was "United States Navy. A global force for peace!!"

I wonder who will have the higher body count in Libyan civilian deaths in this so called "Liberation"? Qaddafi or the Obama Empire? I am willing to bet it will be the Obama fronted military industries mob hands down.

I wonder where the media queens will be when this milestone is surpassed?

I started a thread based on the following quote, but I think it needs to be repeated here:

http://www.ontheissues.org/2008/Bara...ar_+_Peace.htm

Q: In what circumstances would the president have constitutional authority to bomb Iran without seeking a use-of-force authorization from Congress?

A: The President does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation. In instances of self-defense, the President would be within his constitutional authority to act before advising Congress or seeking its consent. History has shown us time and again, however, that military action is most successful when it is authorized and supported by the Legislative branch. It is always preferable to have the informed consent of Congress prior to any military action. As for the specific question about bombing suspected nuclear sites, I recently introduced S.J.Res.23, which states in part that “any offensive military action taken by the United States against Iran must be explicitly authorized by Congress.”

Apparently we are the world's policemen. Stop resisting! Stop resisting! Stop resisting! :(

We're definitely there with the double-think. I still think that Obama's Nobel Peace Prize takes the cake though.

Technically, it's not really Obama's fault; a sociopath can't help but to do such things.

I always liked how they said that they only fired tear gas and the Branch Davidians started the fire..while footage is being shot of a tank with a fucking flamethrower ramming into the building.

I suppose that would depend on which group of people were rebelling.

If it was the preferred residents like the illegal aliens and the new legal immigrants they will be all over it with the sugar and spice.

If it is the conquered residence there will be hell to pay.

It is obvious, and should have been for some time, the military is no longer the military of our country but the tool of the new world order. Congress hasn't had any control of them in decades.

P.S. Notice the navy's new global navy commercial? "A global force for good"

No, the Yemen government is loyal to us. If anything the current regime will be removed while a another loyal regime is put into place like in Egypt.

No because then you would be deemed terrorists by the DHS and there is no mercy for terrorists....we don't negotiate with terrorists.

So, would the U.N. wish to intervene in order to protect Americans from the government? Or should I take your comment as a resounding no? ;)

For the benefit of the youngsters.

19 April 1993.

ATF and FBI combined in a raid of the Branch Davidian church in Waco, Texas.

80 men, women and children were incinerated in a blaze that contained toxic hydrogen cyanide, a by product when heated, of the CS gas that the government had been pumping into the building all morning.

Once the fires started, (very credible evidence suggests that government started those fires) the building, wrecked by tanks over the days before, quickly starting burning in the dry Texas wind.

And in a action that made me sick to my stomach when I first saw it, federal agents leveled automatic weapons fire on the people trying to escape by running out of the back of the building.

By blocking the escape of people with withering gunfire this was the result:

It was this incident that snapped me out of my "standard republican" slumber and made me realize my government had declared war on me.

Indeed, on all of us.

We're all Branch Davidians now.

I guess that answers the title question. It was interesting that Louis Farrakhan had mentioned Waco, and the hypocrisy of our government.

Yes, it was, although it's been years since I watched the entire film, so I can't say for sure when in the film that is.

IIRC it was toward the end during the congressional testimony.

They made sure of that didn't they?

Let me repeat:

Federal agents leveled automatic weapons fire on the people trying to escape.

Never happen.

Reporters are no longer allowed to ask real questions, or they will lose their job and press credentials.

Just ask Helen Thomas.

Only pre approved, pre rehearsed "spontaneous" questions are allowed.

No doubt. To take it one step further, our whole system of credentialism is used for control.
