At the 3:47:21 mark, Poe politicizes the death of my friend's husband Army Sgt Mark Wells to justify, even urge continued aggression in Afghanistan. He mischaracterized Mark's father's remarks. Mark's wife is my friend. We served together since May of 2004. They have a 2-year old son and she is 8 months pregnant. Mark was against the war, but deployed and did his job. It cost him his life. It cost my friend a husband, and two children their father.
Please, take some time to contact Congressman Poe and demand he quit invoking my friend's memory to justify continued conflict in Afghanistan. Please demand that he quit politicizing death of US Service members to promote a political agenda of continued aggression in Afghanistan.
