I'm not a fan of unnecessary or elective bloodshed of brown people in these countries but many of these things have a shelf life, if they are near expiration date, isn't it better to use them instead of letting such costly toys go to waste?

Having a major war ever 20 years or so could be a good plan to make sure costly tax payers funded toys don't end up scrapped without being used as bad as loss of innocent life is from such wars.

I've been reminding all of my Democratic friends supporting this intervention that 1) it was virtually the same argument used against Saddam by Bush 43 in Iraq, 2) Bahrian and Saudi Arabia are doing virtually the same things Libya is (with the exception of using air forces) so why aren't we invading them?, and 3) What's the difference between Libya and Darfur other than Libya sitting on a shitload of oil reserves? The reactions have been pretty positive thus far.
