He argues the following:

1) He was only referring to Ron Pauls age when he said he had no chance and that also said that all the other candidates don't have a chance.

2) He the very guy that would fire and lay off federal employees which would abolish and elminate departments and programs. In contrast, Politicians are afraid to fire anyone. They campaingn on cuting spending and eliminating waste but compromise because they won't want federal employee's losing their jobs.

3) He would be the first President to host a reality television show while in the oval office laying off departments.

4) He is not a career politician as he is a billionaire. He doesn't need a White House or an Air Force One.

5) He got out of his bankruptcies.

6) Ron Paul said it is not the man but the message and firing/laying off federal employees is the message.

I don't know, what do you think? Is there any flaws with Donald Trump that I'm unaware of?

Donald Trump's biggest flaw is being Donald Trump.

Why would you trust a guy that donated to Rahm Emmauel?
Oh and yeah he is a "billionaire" but he has screwed over how many people now in his 3 bankruptcy filings?

Trump has been caught in the 2008 financial crisis as sales for his Trump International Hotel and Tower in Chicago have been lagging and he failed to pay a $40m loan to Deutsche Bank in December.[34] Arguing that the crisis is an Act of God, he evoked a clause in the contract to not pay the loan and initiated a countersuit asserting his image has been damaged.[34] Deutsche Bank has in turn noted in court that 'Trump is no stranger to overdue debt' and that he has twice previously filed for bankruptcy with respect to his casino operations.[34]

On February 17, 2009 Trump Entertainment Resorts filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy; Trump having stated on February 13 that he would resign from the board.[35] Trump Entertainment Resorts has three properties in Atlantic City.

In short, he seems like a successful entertainer and con-artist, not a successful business man. Hell, maybe he is perfect for the presidency then.

Yes, he would be perfect to screw over the US's creditors when we go bankrupt. The only thing I picture in my head is federal employees lined up out the oval office door and Trump sitting at his desk pointing his finger at the federal employees one by one saying 'you're fired!'

He can't even manage his own wealth, do you think the states will be better or worse after 3 bankruptcies?

I absolutely believe the reality show part. The laying off department part? Not so much.

He's a puff piece for the people who agonize over American Idol.

He's a whore, motivated by monetary gain, who wouldn't stick to his principles, if he has any.

The message is a comprehensive understanding of the philosophy of Liberty, not "firing federal employees".

Your friend obviously doesn't have an understanding of the message, which could be why he thinks Trump would be a good president. You should continue to try to educate him on the deeper principles involved.

HAHAHAHAAH!!! Trump took his father's wealth and pissed it down the drain, so he paid off some politicians and scammed more investors and made the whole mess disappear. Your friend must have trouble with simple arithmetic, what he needs is to sit in on some 3rd grade remedial math.

He didn't just donate to Rham... he donated to a bunch of the worst Democrats, and some of the worst Republicans too. His record of political involvement shows him to be an utter fraud.

Rick Scott taught me a lesson.
I didn't vote for him because of the HCA fraud allegation and look at the excellent job he's doing. I was wrong.
Same applies for Trump...I don't care about his past bankruptcies, donations to Rahm Emanuel, etc as long as I get the impression he's going to fulfill his promises. Someone needs to start firing the bureaucrats

Has Trump said anything about limited Federal Government, shrinking government, or the Constitution? None of those seem to be priorities, and instead he seems eager to wield power. He also claims to be the biggest war-hawk around. How does Trump differ from a Fascist?
